Don't Be Koi

This is an illustration i created that was inspired by 19thc. Japanese woodcuts, & tattoo flash art. Japanese art, fish, and tattoo artwork are subjects that I am very passionate about. I enjoyed drawing in a bold style, it is a slight departure from my usual cross hatching.This was drawn using a Micron 0.8mm inking pen. The black India ink used is archival quality. The image measures almost 8 1/2 x 11 and is on acid free paper so it should last for a lifetime when framed with glass to protect it. Enjoy!
